World at War: 4 April 2020 – 5 April 2020

This fascinating event is perfect for those intrigued by war and the innovative equipment used during wartime. Come along to view live reenactments and have the chance to hold authentic weaponry and view rare memorabilia. Take a closer look into the different elements that were involved during the world wars and remember the brave souls that fought for their county.

You can enter the medical tents, climb into WWII vehicles and helicopters and chat to veterans. The weekend also includes a firing display and war time talks. Rich with history, this event is not to be missed.

Pageant of Transport: 11 April 2020 – 13 April 2020

This annual event returns in 2020 filled with iconic and vintage vehicles not to be missed by petrol heads. Come along and look around or if you have your own vehicle you’d like to show off, bring it with you and watch the sea of impressed faces.

Weston Air Festival: 27 June 2020 – 28 June 2020

The North Somerset Scale Model Show: 12 July 2020

This award winning show returns for those interested in miniature creations. With 120 exhibitors at the event, you are guaranteed to come across some beautiful pieces of art and even have the chance to try your hand at modelling with workshops held at the event. Located at the Helicopter Museum, it is a short distance from the Anchor Head Hotel.

World Helicopter Day: 16 August 2020

This fantastic event returns at the Helicopter Museum where you can take a closer look at some of the world’s most iconic helicopters and even experience the pilot’s seat with exclusive access for one day only at Hind, Huey, Lynx and Gazelle cockpits. With great views of the coast from the Anchor Head Hotel, you can see helicopter flights around the coastline in front of the hotel, so you don’t have to miss the show.

Vintage Wheels Rally: 27 September 2020

This annual event showcases some of the most iconic classic vehicles, displayed around Weston’s Airfield WWII control tower and pilot’s block.
